For a road network to be integrated into Wx Horizon, the minimum requirement
is that the network should be in the ESRI Shapefile format. The file extensions needed to
integrate a road network are:
- SHP file : main file that stores the
feature geometry
- SHX file: index file that stores the index
of the feature geometry
- DBF file: dBASE table that stores the
attribute information of features
- PRJ file: stores the coordinate system
information
- CPG file: specify the character set to be
used (optional)
| It is possible your road network contains other files that are not listed above. Make sure
to include them all in the ZIP file. |
If the road network is not already available
in Shapefile format, it must be created or converted to the ESRI Shapefile format.
